Round the world. Grana Padano and the taste of travelling, a tour around 40 countries to get to know different places through the flavours and aromas, to discover the human features which characterize the different cultures which have provided inspiration for the proposals of chefs Stefano Cerveni, Fabrizio Ferrari and Danilo Angè. Unusual and surprising combinations in which the protagonists are Grana Padano and rice, “the food of the masses”.

All this is ‘Round the World. And much more, because ‘Round the World is also a paper book, where recipes are accompanied by a travel journal in which a special place amongst these, truly dear to Grana Padano, is Haiti. Grana Padano and the Fondazione Francesca Rava N.P.H. Italia ONLUS want to carry on their common history of solidarity and engagement in the fight against famine and poverty.

So when they met they immediately started work, organising an important collection of funds to help with building the N.P.H. Saint Damien paediatric hospital in Haiti, a country where the infant mortality rate is one of the highest in the world. In particular, the Consortium, which has always been dedicated to nutrition and food education, has undertaken the creation of the Grana Padano Nutrition Center: the ward dedicated to the treatment of malnutrition and related illnesses, offering a real possibility of life for children in a country where one in three don’t make it to their fifth birthday, in the majority of cases due to malnutrition.
